Clare and Jason Zahra are the owner/operators and manage two tanning studios, in the Melbourne Metropolitan area, in a very professional and friendly manner. The studio at Heidelberg was established in 2000.

Tropical Sun ensures your safety and comfort by adhering to the standards of SMART TAN International. The Golden Rule of Smart Tanning is simple: Don't EVER sunburn. This professional indoor tanning facility is dedicated to helping you avoid sunburn whether you're tanning here or outdoors under the sun. On your first visit to the studio you will have your skin type analysed to determine what type of tanning program is optimal for you.

Clare and Jason use and recommend the California Tan brand of skin lotions. These lotions have an extremely beneficial hydrating and moisturising effect on your skin and help reduce fine lines, as well as providing tanning accelerates to help achieve the most from your tanning program.

Tanning programs are generally a two-week course comprising three sessions per week, and once you achieve a colour you like a maintenance program of one session a week is generally enough to keep it that way.
